Our goal is treat each woman we photograph like a work of art. We take our time and use our best creative perspective to enhance and glorify each woman’s beautiful spirit. As a photographer, I’d rather do only one portrait a year than churn out a quick boring run-of-the-mill lingerie shoot. I recently spent two days in New Orleans (talk about a beautiful city for photography!) exploring boudoir with a group of other photographers and I’m really excited to share some of those images in the coming weeks. Just love the combination of beautiful accessories, great makeup, sexy lingerie and drop-dead gorgeous eyes here. We had two or three completely different vibes going in this session and it was really fun (as the photographer) to be able to set the mood with light and shadow and see the magic unfold! I know her husband is going to flip when the coffee table book arrives!

Love some of our new portraits from the Boudoir Marathon… ! We had a great group of models and I think everyone had a blast. Many thanks to the fabulous Fairy Godmother Bridal for doing such a beautiful job with hair and makeup. Wow. Just stunning.

Boudoir Couture | What to bring to your boudoir photography session

Start planning with at least 2 or 3 items of lingerie. Another sexy look is the man’s white shirt with lingerie underneath, even his favorite tie. When in doubt, bring several extra ideas and we will help you decide. You can also bring a dress or skirt and shirt combo you can undress from (for example: a little black dress or a pencil skirt and white button shirt for a more sexy librarian look). We love the little detail shots of the hands on the buttons or the zippers being unzipped…. remember, we’ll telling a story here!

When in doubt, colorwise, you can’t beat the neutrals – black, white, beige, red and hot pink. They flatter most skin tones. Some look good in light blue, but it’s a bit of a risk for most. Also make sure your lingerie fits you. There is sexy spillage and then there is bulge. Stay on the comfort side and we’ll let photoshop take care of the little things.

Items to bring include corsets, baby dolls, boy shorts, lacy underwear, thigh highs and garters, a camisole, button shirt (yours or your man’s), and, if you have a sports fan, bring the jersey, or letter jacket…just wear your sexiest pair of nickers underneath. As far as shoes…the newer the better, sometimes the soles are in the picture. Sexy shoes are always a winner.

Start with Victoria’s Secret or Maya Hansen for some inspiration, and don’t forget the manicure and pedicure. Treat yourself. Then let our hair and make-up wizards work their magic and be amazed!

It’s an intimate portrait experience in a safe private creative atmosphere. You decide what you want to wear –you tell us the style you like and what you feel comfortable with and we make you look fantastic! How great is that?

Why does a woman do a boudoir photography session? Very simple. Because of the way it makes her feel. It may be a wedding gift for the groom, a birthday gift for a husband, an anniversary gift — but more than anything, it’s a gift for her. She will feel like the pampered princess that she really is — and the gorgeous, sexy, amazing goddess she always wanted to be. It’s a guilty pleasure (times TEN). It may look like a gift for HIM (and he will love it) but how she will feel about herself ? Priceless.
